Sidewalk Shawl

I found this wonderful pattern on Ravelry, and at Jo-Ann's in a mini pamphlet thing. I started just 2 Saturdays ago... I have not had very much crochet time lately, unfortunately :( So, right at this moment I am a little over half way through row 22, and I like how it is turning out.



I am using "Deep Purple" by Caron... I grabbed the "one pound" of yarn!!! I was unsure the yardage, because the instructions don't really specify how much you need. I hate it when they do that!!!!


     Over all, I like this pattern. I feel that I should have used a shiny gray or a different yarn because it is a bit difficult to see the beautiful pattern. I am excited to continue crocheting this lovely piece.
